| Grayson is a 6-month-old Labrador Retriever mix who was born at the shelter. His siblings were adopted, but he couldn't be adopted until he had surgery for his "cherry eye." He had to wait until he was 4 months old to have it corrected. He is now healed and ready for a new home. He knows "sit," plays catch, and loves to play in the water. He is having a blast playing with the two dogs in his foster home. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on his shots. |

| Ruby is a 3-year-old Aussie Cattle Dog mix who was surrendered to the shelter because the owner didn't have enough time for her and thought she needed to be around more people. She would escape by digging out or opening the gate and would run to the park. She was kept in the house and in a crate most of the time and is mostly housebroken. She loves kids and is friendly to dogs but will chase cats. She knows how to sit, shake, down, and stay and has had professional training. The ideal home would be an active, secure home. She is spayed, microchipped, and current on shots. |

| Charlie is a big puppy that is learning his manners and has mastered "sit." He loves people, especially men, and thinks he's a lap dog. He is good on a leash and is just learning to ride in a car. He loves to give kisses. The shelter thought he was a Mastiff/Bulldog mix, but we think he's going to grow up to be a pretty good-sized fellow. He's around 8 months old now and has been neutered, microchipped, and current on vaccinations. He is being boarded while waiting for a forever home. | Mannie's mom is being treated for cancer & had to sell her house. She didn't want to give him up but unfortunately was unable to keep him. Mannie is sweet, good on a leash, and great in the car. He is a little bit afraid of men but does like all kitties and other dogs. He's an 8-year-old, neutered, Cocker Spaniel and Terrier mix. He is currently being kenneled while waiting for a foster home. If you check out Mannie's pictures, you will see him with his good friend, Bella. He likes to take walks with Bella, who is a mini Chow Chow and is available for adoption through another rescue group. |

| Rosie is a 1-year-old American Staffordshire Terrier mix (we think). She is spayed, up-to-date on shots, and on heartworm preventative. She is a wiggly-butt, tail-wagging love bug. She is a very petite girl that wants to cuddle and give kisses. She likes other dogs and does great in the car. If you love bully mixes but don't have the room for one, this is your girl! | Sadie is a 35-pound Terrier mix. She is calm, responsive, and very affectionate. She walks nicely on a leash, and when you do stop, she will pause at the same time and look up at you. She knows "sit," loves to have her belly rubbed, and is people-oriented. She is currently being treated for heartworm and will be all well and available to adopt in early July. She would love a foster home to recover in while undergoing heartworm treatment. |

| Cinnamon adores people and does great with the small dogs in her foster home. She is almost housetrained, knows "sit", loves car rides, is well-versed at giving kisses, and enjoys belly rubs. She had a broken leg when she was picked up by animal control, but her leg is healing nicely with physical therapy at her foster home and daily slow walks. We anticipate she will be back to running by the end of February. She is a 10-month-old Pit Bull Terrier, spayed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. She is currently being fostered by a dog trainer while waiting for a forever home. |

| Serge is a sweet young Labrador Retriever mix that loves to play with people and other dogs. He seems to respect cats, knows "sit," and seems to be housetrained. All the volunteers loved him when he was at the animal shelter. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots. | Gracie Mae is having a blast in her foster home playing with the other dogs. She has great house manners and is housebroken. She is good in a car, in a crate, and on a leash. She loves to lean into you and be close. She is a young Cattle Dog/Pointer mix, around 3 years old, spayed, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. We think that she'd do better in a home with another dog, but we also recommend no cats and no small children in the household. She is being fostered while waiting for a forever home. |

| Jasmine is a sweet girl that would do well with no kids and in a calm-environment home. She loves car rides and is great on a leash. She is a gentle girl with an adorable face and extra toes. The big spots on her back are like a 3-domino, and she has a bunch of little spots, too. She loves other dogs and wants to play with every dog she sees. The Shar-pei breed loves to sniff and Jasmine is no exception. Walks are at a leisurely pace so she can stop and sniff the shrubbery. She is a Shar-Pei mix, about 1 year old, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, spayed, and on heartworm preventative. She is being kenneled while waiting for a forever home. |

| Bruno came from a rescue group where he lived in a covered, outdoor kennel with another dog. When we got him, he was undersocialized and extremely shy. However, he is coming around and loves to jump in the car and go to the park. He is most comfortable with another dog around, so his forever home should have another dog. He needs an understanding human that is willing to expose him to the world. He is a Terrier/Pointer mix, around 3 years old, neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. He will give kisses once he gets to know you and will always have a "puppy" look. He may be able to live with cats. He is currently in foster care while waiting for a forever home. |

| Alfred first came to the shelter as a stray. He was adopted but later confiscated by animal control. The adopters were using him as a guard dog, so he was not in great shape when he came back. We rescued him and fattened him up. He must have made a terrible guard dog because all he wants to do is get his belly rubbed. We adopted him out about a year ago, and his family loved him but are facing eviction. So we gladly agreed to take him back. He loves people and other dogs, is pretty good in the car, and thinks he's a lap dog - even though he's almost 70 pounds! He is a Great Dane/Pit Bull mix, about 3 years old, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, neutered, and on heartworm preventative. He is being fostered by a dog trainer (he'll have the best manners is town) while waiting for a forever home. |

| Bulldozer had been sitting on a cracked hip for over a month, and his surgery took place recently (be sure to check out his post-surgery picture -- the one where he's standing on all fours). He will need a bit of recovery time before he is ready to go. He is a playful guy that loves to give kisses. He is great in the car and gets along well with other dogs but not with cats. He is a young Pit Bull/Pointer mix, around 8 months old, neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. He impresses the vet's office on every visit by wagging his tail and giving kisses while being poked & prodded. His tail is the fastest tail in the west if he sees a friendly face - his whole backside wiggles in delight! He is currently being fostered by a dog trainer while waiting for a forever home. |

| Henry was adopted from the shelter about two years ago. He was picked up as a stray, all matted and skinny. We're cleaning him up and fattening him up. He knows "sit" and "down," likes to give kisses, and isn't quite too sure about car rides. We think he's a Bearded Collie mix but that's up for debate. He is around 3 years old, neutered, up-to-date on shots, microchipped, and on heartworm preventative. We are still getting to know him but think he'd do best in a home without small children and without cats. He is being fostered while waiting for a forever home. |

| Rambo is a 2-year-old boy who has eyes that are deep chocolate brown and who has gorgeous blonde coat. His behavior was rated as a "C" grade, which means that he is suitable with households that have adults or teenagers. This boy is extremely smart and somewhat dominant, but anyone with Nordic breed or Akita experience would do fine with him. He is affectionate with people but no cats are allowed. |

| Buddy is a 8-month-old Pit Bull who was found as a stray. He is housetrained and cratetrained, gets along well with other dogs, knows the command "sit," and is learning the command "down." He is being fostered by a dog trainer, so his manners are superb. Plus, he is sweet and loving and the calmest dog the trainer has ever seen. He is neutered, microchipped, and up-to-date on shots. |

| We just rescued this cutie from the City Shelter where she was a volunteer favorite. Lily has a beautiful gray coat and a beautiful personality. She does great in the car, knows "sit", and loves to give kisses. We haven't tried her around cats, but she is very interested in squirrels. She is under a year old, spayed, microchipped and current on vaccinations. She is being boarded while waiting for her forever home.
