We are a private, non-profit organization that is NOT affiliated with any agency of the City of Sacramento. This site is NOT the official website of the City of Sacramento Animal Care Services.

We are a group of concerned citizens devoted to finding loving, caring, permanent homes for the wonderful animals at the City of Sacramento animal shelter. Because of the unfortunate dilemma that thousands of cats and dogs are euthanised each year at the shelter, we hope to assist the animals that end up at this facility through no fault of their own.

We do our best to update this site regularly, but we cannot guarantee that every animal shown will be available when you visit the shelter.

Since we do not do temperament screening, we cannot warrant the behavior of any of the listed animals.
